2021-22 After School Care & Enrichment Programs AT BAY LAUREL
Bay Laurel Elementary is proud to offer a number of high quality child care and enrichment class options through our partners. Information is posted below for distance learning child care and enrichment activities from the following providers:

The Boys & Girls Club on the campus of Bay Laurel is open! Due to current health and safety guidelines from the county, there is a maximum of 24 students in the program.
At this time, all spaces are full. Please contact club director, Jennifer Wissusik, to have your name placed on the waiting list. HOURS: M/Tu/W/Th/F -- 8:00 AM-5:00 PM COST:

Growing Outdoors' Spring Quarter Exploratories will begin on Monday, March 22nd. Exploratories will meet 6-8 times, depending on the exploratory and grade level, on designated weekdays. Exploratories are divided based on the grade your student is in for the 2020-21 school year: TK/Kindergarten, 1st-3rd Grade, and 4th-5th Grade (please note: some exploratories may be offered to combined grade levels).

AFTER SCHOOL SPANISH ENRICHMENT CLASSES!
The Bay Laurel PFA has partnered with Sing & Speak Spanish to offer Spanish enrichment classes for our children! Your Dolphin can join Sing & Speak Spanish's online classes and get involved in their activity-rich program of games, puppets, songs, and gestures. Sing & Speak Spanish has the best Spanish teaching team in California that emphasizes the fun in language learning! JAXX Theatricals offers After School Enrichment for Bay Laurel students in Grades 1st-5th, where students prepare for and participate in theatrical performances.

Auditions: Tuesday, February 9th (SignUpGenius sent to registered students, time slots are 5 min. each) Schedule of Classes for Bay Laurel: TUESDAYS, 3:00 - 4:30 PM --February 16, 23 --March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 --April 13, 20, 27 --May 4, 11 Tech week is the week of May 17th - 23rd. Specific time TBD and is dependent upon enrollment. Performance will take place the weekend of May 21st-23rd (exact date/time TBD) via Zoom. *Must register by Monday, February 1st. *Bay Laurel's Spring 2020 production of "High School Musical" is limited to 20 students. Minimum of 15 students required for casting. *All participating students must be available for all classes during tech week and both performances |
