FAQ
What does Afd stand for?
AFD stands for Annual Fund Drive. Our Annual Fund Drive is our most important fundraiser of the year. This year we need to raise $300,000 which only accounts for 75% of our operating budget. This year, our AFD dollars will mainly go towards the salaries of our instructional aides, campus supervisors and our PE specialist.

ARE THERE ANY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES?
We love our Dolphin family volunteers! There's plenty of opportunities to volunteer throughout the year! Be sure to touch base with your teachers on Back to School night if you are interested in volunteering in the classroom. You may also sign-up during registration day to be included in our general volunteer sign-up list, but the best way to be involved is to attend our monthly PFA meetings for the most up-to-date events and opportunities.
WHat does it mean to volunteer in carline?
Every week, 2 or 3 classes are in charge of carline for the morning drop off. This means that we ask that 2 volunteers from each class arrive at 7:40am to assist in moving along drop off. Carline finishes at 8:15am. Please look in your weekly emails from your room parents when it is your turn for carline! Please sign up for at least one shift.
On the day of your shift, please arrive at school at 7:40am. Check in at the office. Help get the kids out of the car safely!
